Who we are:
Allyse Pulliam Photography Inc. is a wife and husband partnership between award-winning photojournalist Allyse Pulliam and wedding photographer extraordinaire Nick Gross. We are down-to-earth, fun, and flexible, and we love our jobs. Our goal is to capture joyful, emotional, and artistic photos of your day and for you to feel happy and comfortable while we do it.
We don't care who you are, where you are from, what you did (but extra points if it was cool), as long as you love each other.
What we love:
Happy couples, nerdy couples, super nerdy couples, cool couples, uncool couples, punks/metalheads/goths, LGBTQ+ couples, couples who have said something like "I want a Wes Anderson/Star Wars/ Lord of the Rings themed wedding", shy couples who "aren't good at photos" (you are), couples who know that they are amazing and know how to work it, couples who met when they were in high school, couples who took their time finding their person, couples who have a clear vision that they want to make happen, couples who have no real vision but just want to marry their favorite person and have it documented, couples of any shape and size or disability, couples of any race or national origin, couples of any religion (or lack there of) and everything in between.
We are currently located in Newburgh, NY and will happily travel to anywhere you may be.
Allyse and Nick are truly talented, professional, and FUN people to work with. I'm not comfortable in front of a camera and I was a ball of nerves and exhaustion and Allyse not only took killer shots but managed to put me at ease and bring out my smile. Their shots were beautiful, expertly executed, and wonderfully unique, even in face of herding my gigantic family and getting people to sit still amidst the wedding chaos. Photo delivery turn around was lightning fast, and my friends and family have been telling me they're some of the best wedding photographs they've ever seen. Couldn't ask for more.

Absolutely amazing! Allyse is professional, kind and takes absolutely stunning photos! She photographed our wedding in December as well as our engagement photos and I am in love with all of them. Allyse was very accommodating and patient especially with two young flower girls. Allyse was fast in getting our photos to us (I remember my sister waiting months with the photographer she booked). We knew we made the right decision booking her when we couldn't stop laughing and smiling at our contract signing- a personality you want around on a stressful day, especially from the person asking you to smile all day. I have already recommended her to family friends looking for a photographer and I recommend her to you as well! You will not be disappointed.

In meeting Allyse, we felt immediately comfortable. She was sweet, thoughtful and really energetic about photography. She’s not arrogant or pose-y like some photographers can be. She’s very humble but in reality, a master of her craft. She is constantly surveying angles and areas for you. She is VERY encouraging and even made my husband feel comfortable, when he hates photos. Most importantly, Allyse was able to capture the most soft and loving moments between us. Moments that I had thought would only exist in my mind as a memory. Not only this but Allyse sent me my final photos in record time! While most brides are waiting 6-12 months for theirs, I felt lucky. I can’t say enough about her, she is amazing.
