As a person who works in the film and video industry, it was only natural that Eric proposed to Ruth at the movies. Both of them being creative people (she made her outfit!!!) they booked the Orpheum Theater in Saugerties, New York and came up with this awesome plan for their engagement shoot. It reminded Ruth of the independent theaters she would go to as a kid. For me and Nick, it was super fun to get to be lighting nerds and play with gels and softboxes and to hang out with such lovely people.
